just installed upper and lower

So you don't cut out or remove the lower plastic grille. You just put it over it. Nice install. I think our trucks look better this way

There is no directions saying how to install it. I did it this way because the grill is slightly bigger than the original I didn't feel comfortable cutting this one out. It turned out pretty good though. I'm happy with the outcome.

Would someone take a couple pics of the "clip locations" that everyone is having a problem removing for us that haven't had the opportunity to swear repeatedly while taking off their bumpers/grills.

In the lower grill package they give you the same instruction sheet as the upper. Not good on there Grill Crafts end.

I hope this helps you out. These are photos of harper7 te parts. Take a look at the bumper where the upper grill would go. The tab which sticks out towards the back of bumper is where the black pins go into. You can use a screw driver to lift those up then pull them out by hand. Now on the same part of the bumper there are 6 small gaps where the grill clips into(pic 3 is probably best to look at). You would have to lift those clips up and while lifting up push the grill forward. Now comes the hard part of it. At the "U" shape ends of the bumper(looking at the 3rd picture) where the left and right bottom ends of the grill attach, there you can see where the grill clips into it. You would have to reach your hand in there and lift those clips up and push forward at the same time. the passenger side is alot easier to get to than the driver side. Once you get one side out the other side comes out pretty easy.

I'm out of town right now. As soon as I get back I'll try to take some pics of the clips that's probably causing the frustration. It took me a while before I got those out myself.

Thanks to all the previous posters I was able to get the upper radiator grille out with no problems. All in all not a bad job.

anyone else have to fab brackets for the upper grill? i had to make 2 aluminum brackets for the top of the grill to make it fit right.

No problems here except after cutting the bottom completely off like instructions said i wish i would have kept it and screwed grill to that on the bottom. Looks like it would have worked and not showed the white paint.

Any SilverMetallic TE's get their's on yet? My upper grill is sitting on the counter till I have some free time. Can't wait to get it on though, probably next weekend!
