Just got the front diff in, haven't even had a chance to get on the trail and now I find out I've got a bent rim, a pulley going out, and the stumble I thought I'd fixed is not fixed.

Grr.

I'm pretty sure we've all been there once or twice. Keep at it and take care of one thing at a time. What ratio are you running and what size tires?

4.3 with 30's. It's a little undergeared, but one thing at a time.

I'm hoping this stumble is the TPS. I went to test it and found the plug on the wire harness cracked and falling apart, so I guess water could be getting in there. I'll fix my rear end shimmy with a new set of procomps.

I'm just not looking forward to tearing apart the front end and chasing down my bad pulley. Beats me why the hell I own this thing, I don't like working on it. :D

No, the 4.30 is stock. I'm probably going to regear to 4.88s eventually, but I need to swap to a manual tranny first and see where that puts me.

What size tires do you plan on running? I only ask because I wouldn't put anything over 4.56 for your 30's.

My next set will likely be 265/75r16, which is about a 32. Lots of life left on my current set though, they're only a year old, so I've got time to chew on it. I might maybe go 285, we'll see.

Right now I gotta get it back on the road, though. Just ordered a beefed up alternator from Quality Power (anybody want a brand new GM alternator bracket?), I'm gonna hit the wrecker tomorrow for a new TPS connecter, then new rims next paycheck. Probably Procomp steelies.
