Thanks everyone for the well wishes. It ****in sucks. I've kinda been in a daze all week and it's really just now hitting me. I had been playing around with the idea of selling it and starting something new, but I hate to see it go out like this. I really loved that truck. That being said, I'm going to go look at new Tacoma's for its possible replacement on Saturday. I'm not super sold on them really, but I want a brand new truck to build now and the Tacoma is really the only thing I can think of that fits for me. What I'm looking for more specifically, a double cab short bed TRD OR with the manual transmission. I like the convenience of the auto for commuting and off-road but I've been wanting to have a manual transmission vehicle again for sometime, and I've heard a lot of bad press about the new auto in the Taco. Up in the air for color, either dark grey, silver or just going for it with the Inferno red

Man, I'm so sorry to see this. I'm glad you're OK, but it's such a shame she had to go out this way. I knew you were contemplating selling it, but this isn't the way any of us want to see our builds leave us.

Your truck was always one of my favorite builds. Well done, simple, and beautiful. Glad you're OK, and keep us updated on whatever your next truck/build is.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes. Here is the new "project", a 2017 Tacoma Double Cab Short Bed TRD Off-Road. And I say project loosely because I don't have a lot as in plans for now. Short-term plans are a canopy so the dogs can ride back there, HID headlights and fogs, weathertech floor liners and LED interior lighting. So far I really like the truck.

Holy crap man, glad you made it out! It's heartbreaking to see your truck in that condition but gives us hope that we'll survive a serious accident.
The Taco's are nice but the new engine/trans issues give me doubts.
I would definitely go '14-'15 TRD Offroad w/ manual/locker.
