Guess how much my dealer wants for the Scion HU?

Yup, I hooked up with Prozac on this board and I was able to get the 6 Disc JBL unit for $200 instead of the $1000 partznet/dealer wanted.

I dont get this crap....why is a scion 6disk headunit 800 bucks when they list on the scion sticker for 230 bucks? Thats an 600 markup.

The dealer is definately ripping you off. The 6-disc unit RETAILS for $611.00. My local dealer sells it for around $500.00. If you look on eBay, you'll sometimes be able to find brand new ones for $200. I bought a brand new, never opened 6-disc unit for $225 shipped a while ago.

my sources at toyota say the actual cost of 6-disc Scion HU is $395 and the single disc is $305. Anything above this is mark up by the stealer.
