Guess the item!

Like many of you know, I recently purchased my 4runner. However, I have been trying to figure out what exactly is on the roof rack. I came up with a couple of guesses but none of them seem to fit. I.e. Fishing rod holder, surfboard, bike rack...

Help me figure this out.

I dunno, but those hose clamps holding it on are tre awesome.

Tell me about it. I haven't taken it off because I would really like to see what it is for. Lol but yea someone was creative.

Looks like an older fishing rod holder to me. The front part should flip open, and should also have foam or rubber in it to help keep the poles in place. That would also male sense due to the fact that you're in Miami.

Definitely a rod holder. The clip to the driver side should pop open.then you slide the guide through the rear "o" and clamp the other ende so the reel sits right in the middle.
