Guide to Installing H4 Conversion Lens

Order the lens of choice i prefer the Pilot Lens they are far more clear then the Hella brand. I got mine from AMAZON it was $38.23 shipped.

First you will have to take off your grill, use a flat head screwdriver to separate the retaining clip.

With the old head lights out you can install the new clear lenses.
(Note) i did notice the new lens is a bit bulky and required screws that were a touch longer then the stock one, in my case that was fine the old ones were shot anyway.

Once you have installed the new lens your all set to put bulbs in and hook it up

Ok so i just went with the standard H4 sylvania standard bulb.

Here is the light on.

And here are the high beams.

ill take some pic and show a HID install for you guys i think im the only one who has done it haven't seen anyone else.

that would be great to add the only reason i didnt do the HID because im buying a new boat so spending cash was not a lucid.

Yes please. After I get the new housing I would want to go HID myself now that the prices are so low for them.

I was going to do the conversion my self too but I just ended up buying the new Sylvania top of the line seal beams. Cost is about $20 a bulb and standard seal beam is about $6. The difference is night and day LOL I am very happy but I would still like to do the HID conversion.

No such luck for us (94 ish), I've been looking for months for a clear housing and none available. I'm trying to find what year, grille and housings swap with some form of ease...leaning towards just cutting the core support out of an earlier truck and retrofitting to my 94. Unless someone comes up with an easier way...? My 94's lights suck...I can't stand them...and the extra work would be justified.

Hey Bad_Vision, will these work in those buckets? I don't see why not, just asking for clarificiation.

yes those will work but 10,000k is very blue and annoying it casts a bunch of shadows

will they work in the normal buckets? I've never changed my headlights yet so it's a pretty gray area for me on knowledge. I was lights that really light the road up. suggestions?
