That's how Phillyd2 rigged his. Uses a Glock Sport/Combat Holster Md: H017043 for a G27. Like Phillyd2, I have no need for a tissue holder there! :trophy:

I carry an XD40SC and those holsters are one of the worst holsters I've ever seen. Can't expect much when it comes for free I guess. I have used the mag holder at the range though. Looks like it actually works pretty well for storing in the center console like that.

BTW, hopefully everyone stores their guns inside their residence at the end of the day. Last thing we need is for some s-bag to break into your vehicle and steal your gun. Just think of what your gun may be used for in someone else's hands.

When we travel I've used the in door cup holder to store my XD .40....but wasnt too pleased with it. Currently looking into other options due to the million and a half things I keep in my center console, not including the dual battery switch.

I'm hoping that those of you carrying a gun in the car are also carrying on your person - a gun you can't get to is a gun you can't use in an emergency.

When I put a gun in the car it goes in the door pocket or center console and it ONLY goes there while I am in the car, and back in the conceal holster before i get out.

Don't take it that I am looking to keep the gun in my runner....Over on the wrangler forum there was a group that made a sweet tactical bar that put the gun right at the perfect place and angle for you. Was just wondering if any of you guys had set up something like it.

Search "pistol" in 5th Gen and you'll find about 10 threads. Nothing outstanding, but a few thoughts.

Here's an idea I borrowed from someone for those times when you can't carry and need to hide it from thieves. It works well.

Wet Okole seat cover with the pistol pocket--hangs off the front of the seat, keeps the pistol right there hidden but handy
