Please ignore the bugs, the picture was taken after a 1000 mile drive to Kansas. I had my 4runner parked at our warehouse and the city has a maintenance facility that is adjacent to our parking. I came out and saw the damage and it was quite clear that one of their guys had backed their trailer into me as the damage is the same dimension as the steel rails on the drop gate of their trailers. I found the manager and he came out and looked at my 4runner, looked at the building, then proceeded to indirectly tell me I was SOL since there were no cameras on that side of the building and it was impossible to know how the damage was created.
So my question to you all is what repair methods are available? I don't know much about paint and especially not on plastics. Is there any aftermarket solutions or is it basically live with the damage or get a new bumper painted?
