GX470 seat swap

Hello all, this is my first post. I remember a super old thread where a guy swapped GX470 seats into his 4th Gen. My driver seat was worn out so I searched on marketplace and saw a guy was parting out a 06’ GX and had both front seats so I bought them off him.

My 4Runner is an 06’ SR5 with grey cloth and is electric, no seat warmers and no memory, just the movements are electric. The GX seats are grey leather with electric movements, memory, and seat warmers and also has the airbags.

I know for the install I have to disconnect the battery, but I’m a little confused from the old thread on wether or not the wiring is plug n play, while I’m 95% sure the seat mounts are bolt on I was wondering if anyone else has done a seat swap and could possibly help me with mine? Any guidance is appreciated. Thanks!

Yes, this was the thread I was talking about thank you. I was having trouble finding it. I messaged the OP of the thread but he hasn’t been active in 5 years so… that may be a long shot, I’m hoping someone active on here who’s done it can provide some insight.
