So I'm gonna log my build progress here. It'll probably be slow going, but I would love to share with everyone.

The first pic is from the day after I bought the car. The last 3 pics are from this week after getting debadged and putting on FJ cruiser rims, that I got from another forum member.

Next will plastic dipping the front grill and emblems. And also swapping in yellow fog lights.

A little late on posting these:
Front grill and emblems have been plasti dipped.

I had HID's installed in both the headlights and fog lights. However, the yellow fog lights aren't quite yellow enough for me. I will probably change to yellow lenses in the near future.

I upgraded the brake lines to steel braided brake lines and swapped out all interior and reverse lights to LEDs. (Both these done on forum recommendations. Very affordable with great results)

Next in the works will be, Weather tech floor mats, window visors, aftermarket head unit with reverse camera, and leveling kit with bigger tires. I'm still kind of on the fence about some Clazzio leather seat covers.

Also, not sure how you feel about your rear end(No pun intended) but I personally like mine with the matching spoiler. So if it was me, I would add a spoiler to finish off the look. Other than that, sounds like (As Mytoy4 suggested) you are off to a great start, and looking forward to your build.

Installed some Lamin-X tint on my fogs yesterday. I gotta say, for being so affordable, I was super pleased with the ease of installation and the results. I would recommend these to anyone thinking of picking them up.

Installed a Kenwood DDX7701HD head unit this weekend. I am very pleased with it. My ipod is intergrated into it, as well as my cell phone. It has mirror technology, which displays whatever is on my phone's screen onto the radio's screen. It has XM radio, bluetooth, and reverse camera. I also had an extra USB charging port installed in the back for passengers.

Finally got Bilsteins for the front and bigger Toyo tires for a slight lift. I'll probably wait until these tires wear out and am almost positive that I will end up going a couple of inches higher.

I didn't do the install myself. I paid for the installation, so I can't attest to how difficult it was. However, from what I could see of the process, there was a hole drilled and he had to open up the back panel in the tailgate.
