Yeah the tint adds so much to it. Eventually i'll probably put limo. I actually took off the runningboards today. looks way better

I took off my running boards a long time ago. Then I ended up having rock sliders welded to my frame, which actually saved the right side of my truck this past week when offroading in the mud.

Has anyone here gone with 20% on the fronts, and 20% over the factory tint/glass? Pictures?

I have 20% on my RX-8, and have yet to get pulled over for it here in NorCal.

I know for sure that it's 20% on my front windows in this picture, however, I don't remember if it's 20% or 5% on the back windows. I think it's 20% also, but I could be wrong. I have re-tinted it too many times to keep track. When looking at the 2nd picture, it may have been 5% on the rear windows.

Looks Nice, I went with 20% myself and couldnt be happier. That thing is SCREAMING for a leveling kit though!

What tint for the rear?

I did the same thing, 20% for the fronts. Depending on the angle, it will look like my fronts are darker than the rears, which they are. My question is, what percent tint should I go with to darken the rears to now match the fronts?

Somebody a while ago suggested just throwing on some 70%, but if the rears are 30%, then 0.7*0.3 = 21%, which is still lighter than my fronts. Im guessing around 45% would be dark enough for the rears. Would y'all agree?

I'd say even some 20% looks really good. The back can be darker than the front and still look really good. But if you are content with getting them close to each other, I think anything around a 50% will be fine. Different shops have different %. So you might find 40,50,55, etc.

Looks great, I need to do mine one day. Your 4Runner is a carbon copy of mine except for the rear spoiler. Seeing my 4Runner tinted up nice makes me want to get mine done even more now lol.
