Yeah there is some room in between there. It doesnt bother me to much. The rear is going to be welded to the frame. Its very high learance in the rear. These guys were grilling out tonight and told me to stop my and I snaped one more pic of the front. Its finished short of painting it. The rear is done just need to weld it in place. Paint should come tomorrow. Yeah there skills are top notch. Cbi makes great bumpers as well.

Quick pic of the front..Completely finished except for paint. Im also getting new lights. Suggestions? Im wanting lightforce 240's but there sooo expensive. Gotta give the wallet a break hahah jk. I may end up going with the hella black magic. Ive had my eye on those for a while.

Looks good man, not a fan of the single hoop though, it drives me crazy seeing these keep popping up! you should have finished it off with a Schaefer or Scoggins type hoops to finish it off
 
It seems like every bumper I see has multiple hoops on it. Very rarely do I see plate bumpers with one hoop. I didn't want alot of tube so I went with the single hoop so I could mount some lights in the middle of it. I wanted the tube to be diff than what the arb or others had.

Have you seen Shrockworks? They've been doing bunches of single hoops. In my opinion just looks a little off, but to each their own. As far as lights go check out Kragen's HIDs, probably still decently priced. This is what I'd go for

That's only one company though. Many more have multiple hoops. Arb, tjm, alot of the cbi's, armorology but to each his own. Like I've said if we all like the same thing forums would be a boring place lol. Yeah ive looked into the kragens there appealing to me. They use to be cheap esp for an HID but im not sure if they are anymore. I thought about going with the hella 4000's. Ive had goodluck out of my 500's but these are a larger light which is what im looking for. I may end up with whatever i can find at a decent deal.
 
Nice my rear is being started soon depending on how it comes out we'll be starting on the front soon after. Hope you're powder coating!
 
Its just a blend of a few styles such as bigwapitijonny's and steve schaefer's with a few personal tweaks. Working on implementing an Li-ion aux power supply before looking into changing the main power source and am thinking of building the harness into the bumper. Possibly route the muffler through an exit port in its side. Side protection as you went for but a little different idea in mind. Price was pretty decent too only downside is i have to drive 45 minutes every time we plan, need about 2 sessions before they start so whenever I have time.

If you have the money go ahead and powder coat. The ease of rattle canning sounds good but you can do the same thing when messing up powder coat, only difference is a 10x better finish and hold with 20x the strength. I'm urging you to reconsider, don't fall short when you've come so far with those! :bigok:

Well get that thing rolling! There was a guy on ttora that ran his exhaust out the bumper and it wasnt my style. Just chopped mine off at the rear axle. I thought about it. I figured I could spend 30 bucks or so and primer and paint it and see how it looks. Id hate to scratch the pretty powdercoat on rocks. If I do that with the paint I can toucj it up no problem.I can always powdercoat it later. We shall see. If I powdercoat I may color match.
 

Love the look of your truck. i especially like the front bumper.....like the look of the single hoop since it's different from most front bumpers. nice work!
