Does anyone know where I can find a new or working used vent control panel mines stuck on hot and defrost?

i have an extra one, its about 5 hours away (im in college) ill be going home for thanks giving break and could get it to you if you dont find one by then. pay for shipping and $5 on top of that and its yours. it even has the panel for it that always seems to break (this one isnt broken)

I would be very surprised if the panel is the problem. More likely it's the temperature valve (inside the engine compartment, on the firewall) or the cables that are the problem. If you try to force the controls you may kink the cables.
Best to get a Haynes or FSM manual and check out those two things before you bolt it back together. Taking the dash cluster and pad off is simple and makes it a lot easier to see what's going on in there.

No its the panel the switches are stuck and won't move the only one that moves is the fan speed switch.

Try spraying WD-40/pb blaster or whatever you prefer into the cables on the firewall and see if that frees up the mechanism in the dash.
A word of caution (i learned the hard way) the slides in the dash are held in place by plastic clips. My temperature slide was stuck on cold and I made it go to hot but in the process broke one of the plastic clips. I bet if you give it some lub and slowly work the slides back and forth it will come free. You can also pull the glove box out and see I think 2 places where the cables meet their ends that you can lube up too.
The points you need to lube under the hood are on the firewall right under the two gold colored bolts here:

Oh i just had this problem! Mine got stuck on defrost and also the heat, my little switch thingy wouldn't move. So i took off the faceplate for the radio and stuff, looked underneath and found a little plastic wedge that keeps all the knobs together that broke off! Lined up all the holes and dropped a little bolt through and it fixed it. It's really easy to see, just check it out.
