Has anyone ever replaced one ? Diagnostic connector under the hood

Ok so ive been looking into reseting my VSC system, it is done through the diagnostic connector under the hood, to make long story short i have broken 2 'tabs' that are on that connector due to being -15 degrees celsius outside and the plastic being frozen as soon as i touched it there was no flex what so ever the tabs broke right away, at this point i am really upset at myself that i actually didn't think of this before i attempted to open the case, now the case wont stay closed and im worried that moisture will get in there and corrode the pins in the connector, i zip tied the case for now but thats not how i want to leave it i Actually want to replace it. So my question is ;
Has anyone replaced one of these before ?
Im going to local Toyota dealer tomorrow to source this connector, do you think i will have to remove the pins individually and install in the new connector ? Or does the connector come apart and i will be able just to get a new case for it ? Here is a pic of the connector i am talking about

You'll have to individually re-pin each pin. Either go one pin at a time or create a color coded legend of sorts and it'll be a cake walk. Plenty of videos online of how to de-pin a connector with household items (for awhile I used a bobby pin my wife had laying on the floor in the bathroom) but it'll be simple with the right tool.
