Has anyone painted their OEM rims Gold?

I am finally about to buy my next 4Runner. I have been searching for months for the right 5-speed model, and now I am looking at 3 different colors that I am trying to decide from. The cheapest one, 200k miles on it, is a baby/estoril blue, 2000 model. The mid priced one is the farthest away, next state over, highest mileage at 250k, but in my favorite color, green, 1999 model. The only one I've test driven so far, is not quite as clean as I hoped for, the most expensive of the 3, is black, a 1996 and has 179k miles. All 3 have the same ugly 3 or 6 spoke stock rims. But all 3 are also under $6k.

I always personalize my cars when I buy them. First thing, I remove the running boards. Then I plan to black out the bumpers and grill with plastidip. I always paint the wheels, since they are generally beat up. and this is where my question comes in:

Has anyone painted their OEM rims Gold? I am thinking that on all 3 of these colors, if I painted the rims gold, painted all the emblems gold as well, it might add a unique and cool look to the 4Runner. I thought I'd ask you all first, to see if it's been done. Even if it's not the OEM rims, I want to see what the 3rd Gen 4runners look like with gold rims. Please start posting! Thank you!

You can buy the emblems in gold, it was a factory option I believe they came in gold on certain model Limiteds, but I'm sure someone else can chime in with better info

Why buy new emblems in gold, if you can just paint the ones you have?
