Hatch Harness Which is hot+

So I'm trying to wire some lights onto the interior back hatch panel and while i was going to run wire through and into the cab to the back dome light, I googled installs and someone on the forum said that "There is actually a blue wire with +12v in the hatch and another that is a switched ground (open when the hatch is closed). So can someone specify which one it is please.

There are a decent number of wires in the hatch for the rear window and the lighs around your license plate. You should be able to draw power from one of those. I think the power from the window would be your best bet since it should have power all the time and key just completes the circuit.

Get a test light. Touch a terminal, open the hatch see when it lights up. Use that wire going to that terminal. Or find a 12v source same way. And wire it to a switch with a fuse inline.
