Have Bluetooth without Bluetooth radio?????

In not sure how this works but I have the the JBL synthesis in my 4runner. When i have my phone plugged into the jack in the console i have bluetooth in my car. Where is the speaker in the vehicle that allows me to talk? Its not the nav radio.

Not sure quite what you're asking, but...

If you have bluetooth it should work without your phone plugged in to anything (if you phone is connected) The microphone should be located in the sunglass holder at the headliner (should have a grid in it). If you're the original owner and haven't changed anything this should be the case.

If the previous owner added an interface for bluetooth the microphone could be anywhere (wherever they put it). This could be a Grom unit, or a couple other manufacturers. Again this is assuming bluetooth is in fact connected.

If you're referring to the AUX in the center console, your phone will be coming through all the speakers and won't be connected to bluetooth but it will be using your phone's microphone and using the car speakers for audio.

Thats it. I do not have bluetooth in the car but I can speak to someone like Bluetooth when the phone is plugged in to the console.

My 06 V8 Limited has factory bluetooth for the phone only, with steering wheel controls. I have never used it but my kid had set it up.

You probably have the navigation option, mine does not.

Aux mode on the radio when answering a call will play the persons voice through the speakers for me if I am plugged in.

Does it still work if you are on FM or another source?
