Have couple issue after the lift

I installed the cornfed lift last week and found out that I have alittle issue. I'm sure it was my mistake somewhere, but when I look behind the front wheel on the driver side today, I found out that I have grease or black thing (could be oil) all over the back side of the wheel and lower control arm/shocks It seems like something bursted...I know it's not my brake line because it obviously still works. Does anyone know where it possibly could of came from...it's not alittle, it's all over behind the wheel. Thanks.

Do you have a Sport Edition? If so, it may have busted the XREAS setup. XREAS is a pressurized hydraulic setup so that could be the oil...

Does anyone know if there is grease or some kind of lubricant inside the big rubber thing? I'm guessing that is the only place all these stuff could of came from...

That would be the CV Boot. I didn't think that the amount you lifted would put enough stress on them to cause it rip, but reading the first thread below it may be? This was common for lifted Tundras and required a CV boot mod to prevent it. Check these threads for more info.

You have a bad or ripped outter CV axle boot.

That is grease that has been spewed all over the inside rim, brake, and frame. Either you accidentally gouged/ripped a hole in it during installation or the clamp may have come loose.

Squeeze the boot and see where the grease is coming out from. If it is the clamp, then you need to repack with grease and tighten the clamp. If it is a rip or tear in the boot, you'll need a new boot which will require removal of the axle and repacking it with grease.

I have been running the Cornfed for about 2 years with no issues. It must have happened during the install.
