Haven't serviced anything yet

I got my TEP w/KDSS about 11 months and 9500 miles ago and I'll soon have my 10k service but up til now I haven't serviced a blessed thing on it. The local dealer wouldn't do it early when I went there about 2 months ago.

Should I have serviced it before now and paid for it?

What should I make sure they do other than the standard checklist/inspections and change the oil? Grease the zerks/driveshaft perhaps?

well... a complete list is in your owner's manual. Your first service should have been at 5k, which is pretty much just an inspection and tire rotation. 10k service is little more than an inspection, tire rotation and oil/filter change.

Your dealer should be servicing at 6 months, 12 months, 18 months and 24 months if you are not making the mileage.
I have had my first three at no charge and I do not even have 10K on the ticker yet. Oil change was at 12 months and I only had ~6300 miles on it.
You dealer is screwing you. I am of course assuming you bought it new, which was not made clear in the original post.

Yes the dealer should service your truck when YOU ask them to, don't get pushed around by some service "advisor", I have my oil done every 5k.

You get service every 6 months or 5000 miles. Open your glove box take out the Maintenance manual, read it, then show your dealer what the hell he should be doing to your truck. That's lame of them. Or better find a better dealer.

At the very least your tires should be rotated every 5k. Toyotacare pays for that.

There is some truth to that BUT ToyotaCare does not pay for Special Operating Conditions service, which if less than a year and/or 10k miles they are not required to change your oil. They may just be keeping you happy.
