Took her out and found this flex spot. Still has a slight tank rub. Cut it out, need to see if that's it.

Painted slidders again. Then had my buddy do a claybar/wax to her. Took all the yrs of overspray and greasy hands right off. Looks almost new again.

Are you putting the flares and side moldings back on or off for good?

I ripped one off this weekend on some tight trails and they might all come off.

Awesome build.

Even with the v8, it will make a big diffrence. I ran 35s for a yr, and all the extra weight, I can tell now how much I lost. I can still tell there's rolling resistance up hill.

They usually don't come off that easy, trail that is. I've bang mine up bad and they stayed on, just no body lift, tire hit the front and popped it loose. Removed after that.

I filled the holes in, this is the way she stays now.
 
It's got pep now. When loaded down, going up hill, I get in that 70+ speed, I have to go pretty deep on the pedal for it to down shift. Just have to do it manualy.

I love the build and your youtube videos- nice looking stance you have there. I'd still take a built 4th gen over a 5th gen anyday.
 
Done adding to the bumper. Added some lights in it, Luke should just do this to them IMO, and got it painted 1 color again.

Well had to do some more things to keep her in shape and hopefully not break on me.
These upper links finally couldn't handle the flex stress I putting them through, so had RENZ Fabrication hook me up with some dbl offset arms, with Metalcloak bushings. Had him add a little more length to them for my pinion angle,

I notice with all my flex while was trying out a different size rear coil, my MT offset lowers also hit/bind with the axle. Had my shocks unhooked on one end, and it looks like the ICON 56550s might not be long enough either, oh shit. Might be close to limiting them out on full drop/flex.

I also developed a rear seal leak last yr after doing a regear, so did them and bearings while I had it apart. Figured while I was at it, might as well do a brake upgrade also.
New ebrake pads, and went with stoptechs Z36 kit.
Lot better on stopping this pig.

Think I'm almost done. My buddy Krister decided to bump up his Dobinson coils again. So he was kind enough to have me try out Dobisons 701s. They gave a little more lift also. A little stiffer also. Was playing with spacers and coils.
So made a ride to the hills for a few days and was loaded down real heavy. Hitting the bump stops even with 1" spacers on the 677s.

So decided to put the 701s back in, remove spacers other than the driver lean spacer. The stiffness of these are toning down the harshness of the 886s up front. Good thing.

Final lift measurements.
F 23.5" = 4.5" lift
R 25.5" = 4.5" lift

Little stiff, but truck feel. Drop the air pressure a little, were good.

Man, I have got to do this sometime soon. I feel like these rear links are just tooth picks. Looking through your thread has me feeling a little more motivated to get my work done on my truck.

They are in comparison. OEM bushings where getting pretty bad also.

Depending on your lift height, add some length, and more flex able type bushings.

I come close to maxing my shocks out and there the longer ones. Lower links contact my axle at drop.
