Hawaii T4R's Off Road Trip
April 1st, 2012 SUNDAY
OPEN TO ALL GENERATIONS T4R's

Kaena point trail run; Its a very easy - moderate trail.
Meet 12:00 PM at NEX Airport Parking Lot
Rollout 12:30 PM to Kaena Point
Up to everyone if you guys want to bring drinks/food
Family Welcome!
Dont worry if its your first time out or if you are experienced; kaena point is a very easy trail and its always up to you how far you want to take it.
I'll be bringing straps just in case and hopefully the weather will be nice that day.

Other tread in t4r section is so buried and never found.

Was wondering any locals wanna chime in?

Wouldn't mind a meet up starting a t4r club down here especially with how many 4runners we have down here.

this comment is completely irrelevant to OP but I just wanted to say that Hawaii has some of the baddest 4runners out there. I was in Kauai last week for ten days and saw some of the best looking 4runners. 80% of them were lifted and rockin some big ass wheels

Hawaii's got lots of t4r's just no club yet amazingly haha

Yup, yup, we gots lots of 4Runners here on the Big Island too. There's a handful of guys who really mod their rigs but most of them are stock (at least on my part of the island). But yeah, you would think that with so many 4Runner owners in HI there would be much more members on here..haha

I agree though, we definitely need to start a 808 T4R group!! :bigok:

Although we don't live in HI year around, due to my J. O. B. its benefits allow us to make frequent trips back home every couple of months. Would love to join a meet, greet, grinds, talk story and see some island builds........ahway! I would frequent an 808 T4R section, lots of locals in PRC and PHX not sure how many own T4R or know of this forum. Time to spread the word.

Although I live in Florida now, Hawaii (Kailua Oahu) will always be home.
Its funny to read some of the comments about "local" 4Runners and trucks in Hawaii. The low wide tires are defiantly a Hawaiian thing!
Man,, now I want a plate lunch from L&L, manapua, and some lemon peel!!!

The thing is everyone else who hasn't been to hawaii doesn't realize the type of trails and off roading we have.

It's totally different. Obviously much more sand and mostly mud. No rock crawling that much. And all grassy terrain.
People sometimes jump the gun on teasing hawaii trucks but it's just a different environment.

As of now i think my runner is outta commission as far as offroading, still can meet up and cruz though...im pretty sure all of my shocks and struts are blown (stock never changed) but hopefully it will be lifted pretty soon.

Just had L&L today.They opened one in Plano,TX of all places... Some dont like the look but I like the island style

It's local style but not really local food.
