I know! I am still deciding which color will look best in a black runner. I leaning over the gold one.

Cheap mods? I've got the Valor tip, carpet mats, and Echomaster and they weren't cheap.

I actually had the opposite situation with the mats. My 4Runner was delivered with carpet mats (they were supposed to be the all-weather mats, but they were out of stock). I decided to keep the carpet mats but later picked up dark grey all-weather mats from Sears.

These mods were cheap compared to the new exhaust, bull bars, aluminum skid plates, and Revos. ;-)

I actually looked over T4R's Classified forum for the carpet floor mats and found just for the top deck of the double-decker cargo system (Thanks JMT529). The rest of the floor mats were bought off eBay.

I was able to use my salesman's account to get employee price for the other ones.

$40 for cargo mat (from JMT529)
$46 for carpet floor mats -- 2 fronts, 2 rears, 1 cargo (from eBay)
$34 for OBX pedals (from dealership)
$41 for Valor tip (from dealership)
$125 for front windows tint
Feeling of being broke after these mods....priceless.

what are the tint laws in hawaii??

For SUV/trucks, 35% on the front windows. And the top of the front windshield tint up to the AS1(?) line.

I am still deciding whether to get a metallic or a ceramic-based tint. Do you guys know the difference?

I want to get something that is not too dark at night from the inside out.

Latest mod: FormulaOne Pinacle ceramic tint 35% on the 2 front windows. I also wanted to have a tint installed down to the AS-1 line of the front windshield but they didn't want to use water next to the electronics of the EC rearview mirror.

For the very first time, I completely detailed my truck over the weekend:

Saturday
- wash the truck with Dawn dishwashing soap using 2 buckets
- dried it with The Absorber
- used ClayMagic Fine Grade Clay Bar (blue) and Meguiar Quik Detailer from top to bottom, inside and out
- used Klasse All-In-One with an applicator and wiped it with a microfiber cloth
- used Klasse High Gloss Sealant with an applicator and wiped it with a microfiber cloth

Sunday
- (after 24 hours) waxed it with Meguiar's Gold Class Liquid Wax
- dressed the tire with 303 Protectant
- polished the chrome grill with Meguiar's Chrome Polish
- polished the exhaust tip with Meguiar's Chrome Polish
- wiped the inside with 303 protectant
