How do ya like the wilco?? Does it move around in the receiver any? Seems like it would move side to side a bit. Nice rig man! Keep up the build.

I love it. It has a wedge mechanism inside the receiver so there is no play at all. Solid as a rock. Its easy to swing out of the way to open the rear hatch and is built super solid.

Thanks for the report!! Carrying my spare in the roof rack for now but I want to free up the space for wheelin/camping season. Might have to put that on the list then.

For sure. There is a big bend thread somewhere in the forum I think. Do old maverick road for sure. Black gap is more technical but doable if dry. Camp off of river road near the Rio Grande! Definitely stop in terlingua ghost town for breakfast tacos and coffee

We have 2 GX's like that here in Boerne. One guy has an RTT on 24/7. Keep meaning to stop and talk to them when I see them around town, but life has been way to busy lately. They have the same front skid setup, but not the same bumper. Definitely makes my rig look like a mall crawler.

Did you get the E rated or C rated ko2?

Stock is ~39 lbs
C is ~ 45 lbs
E is ~ 52 lbs

Adding 13 lbs of rolling weight per corner is quite a bit. Thinking of going C rated.

When you jumped to 275, I noticed there is no C-Load option for the KO2.

Do you feel a difference in the tire as compared to a 265?

I am going to try some aggressive wheels and may only be able to fit 265 without a BMC (if at all), so wanted to know how you felt about them and why the switch, and what the new ones feel like in comparison.

Seems like you've added some good weight to the rig so maybe at the corners it's not very noticeable?

It is definitely noticeable at first. Especially when you roll out of the tire shop with the insanely high PSI they fill to (mine were higher than my pressure gauge would read >55psi). After I aired down to like 45 the highway ride is much better but the MPG takes a hit.

I switched mainly because I wanted to lift it and the 265s look small when lifted more than an inch.

Put some spidertrax 1.25" spacers on this weekend. Did some minor trimming and it still rubs pretty bad... thinking of lifting the front another inch to even out the insane rake...
