Toyota factory service manual is better than either. ..and you can get it free if you know where to look. :wave:
 
I've got both. Chiltons seems to be more detailed but it doesn't have anything for differentials. So I got a Haynes too. It's not a bad idea to be over informed. One may cover certain little specifics the other doesn't.

92-sr5 are you talking about the free factory service manual provided in the link some wheres on this website (think it was in a sticky)
 
I don't really like the haynes or children's.... Throughout the years I have seen several mistakes in both manules. Most recent was for the Suzuki sidekick. They show & say the dizzy spins backwords from what it actually does. Kindof important to get that right so you can get the fireing order correct!

yeah thats why i had asked (though for all intended purposes i have seen mistypes in factory service manuals as well) i did actually end up getting both.... one for the house and one for the truck/shop

Just go in the FSM thread and ask for what you need and one of these fellas will hook you up. I've gotten 2 now, threw them on a flash drive and I'm good to go. That's the beauty of this place. I believe there is a thread that's a sticky but I got help in the one that isn't.
