Just wanted to say “Thanks” and “See you next time around”...

Sold the 4Runner last weekend... the itch got too bad, and the Runner was just falling too far behind for my liking/daily pavement pounding.

This place has been great and helped me through all my choices and mods.

There was a 4Runner enthusiast where I traded in mine, and when he learned what model it was and all the small things I had done, he was blown away. The other people standing around us were looking at us like we were nuts. It was too funny.

I’ll stop from time to time, and who knows, I’ll prob even be back for 4Runner #4 someday.

Like I said, more than decent chance that i’ll be back... just may be a few years. After so many years in a full SUV, I think my brain just finally decided I wanted to try something more car-like again. Trust me, I went thru damn near every possible street-centric SUV I could fathom... but once I built up what I wanted, the pricing I kept getting to was just not worth it (over what I already had in my Runner... tech/luxury/sport, etc.). I had to jump down to compact SUVs to get some decent luxury upgrades and nifty new tech. Remember, I don’t off-road hardly at all, and can barely make the time to force it. I just figured some other guy out there could put my Runner to better use with what’s its designed for... fingers crossed it ends up in the right hands.

I’ve already factored in tires, oil changes, and premium gas... it stings, but not any worse than constantly wanting to mod/change something else on the Runner!

Got a extended warranty for big shiote... we’ll see how it goes.
