Headlight led halo similar to Audis?

Hi, sorry for such a simple question but I tried searching with no success.

I saw a picture of a user's 2014+ 4runner that put a led strip in his headlights so that it looked like kinda like how Audi's daytime driving lights look. I love the look and would like to do that for my next mod...any way you guys could point me in the right direction?

The proper way to do this is to open up your headlight and mount the LED inside the housing. This can be daunting the first time you do it but it is not impossible if you take your time. You can mount them outside of your headlights, but this may accelerate the failure of the strip.

There are tons of options when it comes to LED applications. One thing to keep in mind that the cheap LED strips you can buy in auto parts stores are not very good quality and will most likely need to be replaced much sooner.

I personally prefer The Retrofit Source for any HID or LED needs as I know I am getting a decent product and if something should go wrong, they are easy to deal with to get the problem worked out.

so obviously this is custom made, but is it all manufactured at once... as in you can buy from a dealership the headlights or is it modified by one of those " LED strip" kind of things??

If anyone knows if you can get the whole headlight already assembled from a dealership I´ll appreciate if you guys let me know so that I can buy it.

This is not an off the shelf item. You need to either do the custom work yourself or pay someone to do it.

The lights have to be split open for this. A few on here have opened them for a RF, but from what I've read, baking open the 2013+ is not easy.
