Depends what you have done, because they can do way more than I needed/wanted. Out the door I paid just shy of 1k. The craftsmanship is what impressed me most.

When $ is no object, I'm sure they could go totally nuts! What you did is more or less what I think the bulk of us 'would' do if we were in the market.

For now, my wallet is buried in airfare for the next 2 months (or so)…then, good Lord, a few photo trips to Europe and possibly a return trip to Banff.

Nope, this isn't the BMW OSS world...no need to send them your lights. Weather is crappy here tonight but anyone that tries to argue that HID's aren't worth the money (if done right) is a liberal! I'm not saying they're Soros or anything but it's highly likely they voted for the wrong candidate and I'm probably subsidizing their income in some form or fashion...but not for much longer. That last pic shows why I'm no longer subsidizing their income!

All parts and labor, I didn't send them my lights, because Im local, but essentially yes, because I just gave them the truck lol.

I have no idea, but based on his statements and a photo of a gun and with all that has been happening lately... I think that should probably be taken seriously as a potential threat to society.

Oh and lights look great! I am tempted to go down this road, but probably keep it a little more simple and retro-fit IS350 projectors into my housings. I just don't absolutely love my XD 4300 kit and miss OEM HID's from my previous cars.

What Bi-X projectors did you have installed?

i don't see enough benefit of retrofits over HIDs in stock projector to make it worth the cost, but having bi-xenons is worth the cost

do you have to modify wiring for the high beam to work on the bi-xenons, or does it have a harness? does it still retain factory high beam in addition to the HID?

Let me clear up some confusion. I misspoke excitedly. They are not bi-xenon projectors. They are upgraded oe projectors. New lens ballasts and hids. I opted to not go for the morimoto bi-x to save some money as the high beam could now be upgraded. This was their recommendation andnthis is their expertise. for high beams we went LED in stock configuration and displaced drl to led accents.

I did none of the wiring.

The IS projectors are Bi-x. And yes, there is a harness that operates the halogen HBs with the HID HBs.

You could upgrade the OEM projector with a clear lens and an HID kit and achieve pretty good results. I have pics and lux readings from Lightwerkz for this mod and they are quite good actually. And this does save a few bucks.

For me, going to all the trouble/expense required to get the lights out, and opened up, is no small task. So to go to the extra step of buying the IS projectors made sense to me. They only cost $100/pr., and labor was probably a few hundred more. Lenses are a wash, and the HID components are a wash. Made sense to me.

wow, this looks fantastic! might have to skip the XD HID kit and save for the real deal. I love the LED accents as turn signals idea. very Audi looking which is a good thing.

Parts alone (including replacement headlamps) for my retrofit was in the ball park of $500. Another $500 for professional labor is well worth it.

All In, parts in stock, I'd bet they'd have them done in a day maybe two. Mine was the learning curve so much of it was unknown

I was back and forth. But frankly, the output wasn't really enough for me however we were talking morimoto not sourced oem. The bulk of this build for me was the details not just output. The body matched chrome elimination, black housings and acrylics were. The light output was an easy upgrade but if that was all I was after I'd have probably pursued it myself. Plus they are good friends and the work is too notch
