Heater/ AC Blower help...

Sorry for the newbie questions, but I am in need of some help.
It seems that the blower unit on my 2003 4runner is on the way out. If I go to turn on the heat or AC, the head unit works as it should, but I get no airflow out of the vents. I pulled out the glove box, and check the cabin filter it see if it was clogged... no issues. If I just touch the fan blades in the system, it spins and all is good. It will work fine for a few days, but the same issue. At times, if I hit a large bump in the road, it turns on by it's self with out assist from me.

Is it time for a new blower unit? Or is there something that I can do to fix this problem?
Any help is greatly appreciated. :thumb3:.

Sorry about that, but I am located in Albuquerque, NM.... so ice and cold weather are realy not a problem here. :thumb3:

This happened on my wife's 2003 V8 Sport Edition. Turned out to be the resistor unit. Cost a decent piece of coin.

Order one from Conicelli's or something. Dont pay the dealer price. Sucks.
