Heater problem?

Hi guys I have a 2005 SR5 V8 and I am having an issues with the heater I think. When I try to use the heater I am getting a little bit of warm air blowing out all of the passenger side vent and rear vents. The left vents for driver are hot as can be. I have tried to adjust temp and no there is no difference on passenger side.

I have read that cleaning the sensor under the key switch might help but it didn't.

Is it possible for the heater core to be partially plugged? Or does the heat come from one centrally located area for both the passenger and drivers vents?

Thanks for the help guys it is 30degrees here.

It sounds like there is a problem with a flap in your ac/heater unit. Does the passenger side temp change when you change it from de-fog, dash, dash and foot well, and foot well only?

No the temp does not change. I get the same effect of very little heat then nothing. It really seems like the heater core gets warm only on one side then when I put the blower on it disperses all the temp there and then it is cold.

If you think it sounds like a diverter door any ideas on how to fix?

Thanks

I fixed the issue today by back flowing the heater core and soaking it with CLR. It works like new again. Lets hope it stays that way. Gonna flush system once more and refill with new Toyota anti-freeze.
