Hellamatic - Build Thread

She's a 3yo chihuahua + 1/8 yorkie.

I gotcha. We got a pup back in early July. My brother picked him out in a Walmart parking lot in Breman, Alabama. Was told he was part chihuahua part yorkie as well.

He's got a lot shorter hair though.

Cute little bugger! Let me know if you ever want to start a "5th gen owners with chihuahua/yorkies" thread, lol

Yeah, our cousin has one from the same liter and they are completely different dogs. His is alot taller and has alott longer hair over his face and body.

Not sure how much intrest we would have on a thread like that haha.

Minor upgrade, and one of the few strictly cosmetic ones I've done. My new Icon shift knob set arrived the other day.

New Baja Rack

Installed my new Baja Rack last night. Went out and snapped a couple pics today.

40" Rigid

Installed my 40" Rigid light bar today. I went with the dual row hybrid spot/flood combo. The pics don't been begin to do justice to how bright this sucker is.

That's pretty cool how the bar is reflected in this image. What kind of camera are you shooting with?

Truck looks great by the way. Can't go wrong with Rigid!

Thanks buddy! I'm a firm believer in Rigid products - they're so expensive it's silly, but their quality and light output is phenomenal.

I usually take my pics with my Canon EOS 7D, but this one was just snapped with my iPhone.

'Tis the season for modding

Best part of having a few days off around Xmas is getting some time to play with the Toy. Went to the parents' place for the festivities today and pulled the 'Runner into the garage to spray the taillights in between opening gifts, drinking a whiskey or two, and eating like a glutton. Merry Xmas to all!

This is my first post :tape:
I'm going through all the build logs before asking any stupid questions, but when I saw the Tim Horton's cup "eh", I just had to comment. As I type this, my ceramic Tim Horton's cup sits empty. I'm not sure how this found it's way all the way to Spring, TX, but my wife says it just fell in her purse.

Love the switch mod!

Thanks man! I had to leave the cup in the pic to properly represent the finest coffee my great country has to offer.

It's good you're reading thru threads before posting - we will all relentlessly berate you if you ask questions that have been answered elsewhere, haha. That being said, welcome to the forum! You'll find that there's a lot of great resources here to help you build your ride!

thank you hellamatic, that first picture with black rims is the sexiest vehicle ive ever seen and it is exactly what my dream car is gonna look like!!!

IMO the new grille was a good idea but isnt the prettiest, but thats just my opinion haha..... and holy dang those lights are bright thats crazy!

Let there be (more) light!

Bought a couple of 6" Roo Lights from my local speed shop today. I love my Rigid on the roof, but I found that it's blinding and useless in blizzard conditions! I drilled holes through the top of the bumper cover (yes, I'm "that guy" who will gladly drill holes all willy-nilly into his new vehicle,) and mounted the lights directly to it with some large fender washers behind to prevent tearing through the cover. I ordered in some yellow filters to help reduce glare in the snow - they should arrive next week.

My reasons for going with the halogens instead of a Rigid bar/filter are twofold: 1) they cost waaaay less than a Rigid. 2) I like the "classic" look of big round lights.

Wiring was a snap - I ran wire and installed a relay when I installed my fuse panel/OTRATTW switches earlier in my build, so the total install took less than an hour.
