I used to post here, until I wrote off my previous 2007 4.0 in bad weather. I dropped off the forum as I knew I wouldn't be getting another one in a hurry and this made me sad. Hopefully I will remember some names, and hopefully all of you are keeping well and healthy.
The other day I was browsing online looking for another vehicle (The Jeep Commander HEMI I had for a bit was fun, but more oxide than steel underneath, not worth paying any more to fix)
I saw 2 listing for Toyota Surf, and almost didn't either bother looking as they're always tired old 1990s diesels which is when they stopped being imported.
You can imagine my surprise when I saw a 2008, not far from me.
It is a 2.7 2WD, not a combination that made it to the States I believe. It drove nicely, so I put a deposit down. It is not registered yet, so it will be at the dealer until next year, I expect.
I will need to source some roof rails from somewhere, as it doesn't have any for some reason.
I don't know where these tags came from but they are hilarious, it's like a haiku or something. bother, diesels, imagine, made, surprise
