Hello and quick question.

First off I would like to introduce myself or should I say my car. Hello to all and thank you for all for allowing me to lurk. :wave: I started lurking through the varoius T4R website after buying the car. I bought (my wife did for me) a 98 4runner 4x4 Limited about a year ago. White with the siver flares. It was bone stock except for the hood and moonroof deflectors when the car was acquired, but I have been slowly building it.

The things that I have done so far to the vehicle includes:
1. Alpine Head Unit (Started with the W205 than stepped down to the 9886)
2. Alpine Type R 6.5 Component Up Front (perfect fit)
3. Alpine Type S 6.5 Coax in Rear (minor mod needed
4. Alpine 4 channel for the mids and high and Alpine 500 watt mono block feeding the Alpine Type R 12 in the trunk.
5. AVS Wind Deflector for the door.

I've have always been a guy who have worked on cars from a least invasive to a more invasive mentality. Now that the least invasive is done (for the moment) I would like to start working on lifting the car.

After lurking and reading tons of information on lift options for the car I have decided to piece together the following lift:

Tundra 5100 with YY YB up front (possible top plate spacer)
Tundra 5100 rear with Toytec Superflex coils
Possible body 0.5-1 inch body lift

I have already acquired the following items for my lift.

Tundra YY YB coils
Isolator
New Top Hat
Tundra 5100 shock bushing

So my question is: Would the Tundra 5100 shock be able to accomodate the Toytec Superflex coils? I know that Toytec offer the Superflex with an added 200 dollar option for the extened shocks but I can't see myself paying 200 just for some 5100 extended shocks. I would really like to know because I just placed an order for the rear shocks (Tundra 5100). If not which 5100 should I get?

The 5100's will work just fine. The extended travel will just give you a little more down travel, and up travel will still be the same.

Ive got superflex in the rear.
with my shocks are the factory gas OE $30 shocks from auto parts store. great for me! they let the axle droop super super low! check my build thread and the end page or so ive got some videos of the axle flexing.
