So could not resist this truck and it has been a long time since I sold my 93 Toyota Tacoma 4 x 4 to make room for kids :) I have wanted one for a long time ( any Toyota 4 x 4 would of done) But now with daughter in Coast Guard and Son with 2/3 a year to go in University I am a free man - well almost. Certainly free enough to buy a new toy.

We shopped and looked at new vehicles and some used, after sticker shock, and then stumbled onto this. I basically traded my equity in a little small in town car I had for 5 years ( ~$2200.00) and I will have to pay to have it shipped here another $500 or so. But yea!

I figured with what I have in it and spending another 7-8k I could have one hell of a rig that meets my needs. I don't want to climb rocks, or go neck deep in mud, but rather perk her up a bit, raise her a bit, and to meet my off road needs when I camp and hobby gold mine.

Hopefully you guys/gals can help me when I get started and this forum proves useful moving this gem a few notches up to bad ass :)

Congratulations, 58rennur4. Looks good from what I can see. A little damage to the rear bumper maybe?

Post more pics if you get a chance. I had an '85 extra-cab 4x4 truck. Nice (both mine and yours).

Thanks buchaja, after 30 some odd views and no hello's I was thinking hmmmmmmmmm.....

The truck is in transit and I pick it up Monday. Cant wait to go over every square inch. I finally got a reason to clear off my back porch :) Yes I will get pictures then. And yes a few dings and the bumper tweaked a tad it looked like all the same injury backing into something. Really excited about this.
 
Nice find! That looks really clean. The rear bumper does look a little bent. That's not an original style bumper anyway. It came from a pickup looks like. Good luck and see u in the Classics Section. :driving:

Thanks or pointing that out about the bumper! I am looking for a replacement now and headed to the junk yard this week.
