Help basic maintenance today and runner Wont Start???

just noticed i can very faintly hear the factory alarm going off its very quiet though. It did churp when i reconnected the battery after replacing plugs.... hmmm

dead battery, or poor connection.

did you check the battery cables? make sure theyre clean and tight?

were you listening to the stereo while doing the work, maybe you just ran it down?

Took the battery in and it tested perfect. I'm replacing the old battery terminals now.

ITS ALIVE!!!!!! Was not the battery or terminals. I pulled a fuse below this blue speaker on the drivers side I'm assuming that is the factory alarm system does anyone know. Anyway after pulling the fuse i heard the door locks cycle. I then tried starting it and its good to go!!!!

That blue box is no factory alarm, something aftermarket for sure.

But you got it working, so congrats.

Must have had something to do with that aftermarket alarm. Some sort of engine kill protection.

Sounds like a good system if it did that.
