Help, before purchase!

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

I would like to know if this is a good deal and if the basket can be attached to my current roof set up. The guy said I needed to have a crossbar (width), I do not exactly know how it looks like. If anyone can explain, I would greatly appreciate it.

Selling a Yakima roof rack/basket. No rust. Comes with the rack mounts for the basket. **MUST HAVE EITHER FACTOR OR AFTERMARKET CROSSBARS. (Width) it also has the basket extension installed so it fits the length of the SUV. Can be removed.

Also comes with the KC lights they are black with covers and the yakima mounts for the lights.

Selling because i had it on my offroad explorer but the vehicle is being junked and i no longer have a vehicle to put the rack on so i dont need it.

Assuming it is the Yakima Loadwarrior with extension? If so, then yes it will work with the factory roof rack. Sounds like a fair deal since it includes the extension.

Note: The mounts must be "aero" shaped and not round or square - check with seller to confirm. If so, it will fit a whole lot of vehicles so it will sell quick if it's clean.

I did something different and put bolts through the smaller crossbars for my Yakima Load Warrior. I was a bit apprehensive to do it this way until I put it all together and grabbed it and pushed and pulled as HARD as I could (I am 235 and 6'2"). Didn't budge. Now 2000 miles later and a Hi lift jack for my trailer mounted to the side and my trailer spare tire mounted inside its still perfect. It makes it sit as close to my roof as possible which was my goal. I made some L shaped brackets that clamp to the rack and bolt down into the OEM rack rails for the jack just recently and its holding fine too.
