Help! Hydraulic tensioner bolt stripped

Vehicle: 1997 4Runner SR5 - 5VZ-FE (162K miles)
Hello everyone. I've lurked here for years and have learned a lot - but I think I done messed up this time.
So while doing my timing belt in the driveway I ended up stripping the front bolt to the Hydraulic Tensioner to the timing belt before I realized what was happening. I doused it with PB blaster. Before the bolt got completely rounded (probably 20% of the head still in tact), I had my friend pull me down to my mechanic who said he'd try to get it out - but doubted his ability with this one himself.

So, question 1: What is the part number for this bolt? I can't seem to find it anywhere. Waiting for Toyota to reply to me as we speak.

Question 2: Worst case scenario the bolt is done for. What course of action should I take? That bolt is holding in the old tensioner - thus I cant cut the old belt off because I wont have any way to get the new one on. After the tensioner was out I just gotta replace the belt, seals, etc and put her back together. This really f*ed my day up.

Oh, and the back 12mm bolt that takes an extension, an angle attachment, and a hail mary backed right out. What gives?

The bolt is 8mm-1.25X about 50mm. The original has a 12mm head, anything you replace it with from the parts or hardware store will have a 13mm head. If your mechanic knows what he's doing he should be able to get that right out with an extractor socket and some heat or by welding a nut onto the stripped 12mm bolt head.

Update: Mechanic was able to somehow cut the head of the bolt and get the rest of it out. Tomorrow have to just pull out the actual bearing piece of the tensioner assembly and all should be well. Going to go to a hardware store and see if they can match a new bolt. Will update tomorrow.

Yeah, I was thinking of that route, but then whenever the tensioner finally does go bad - that would just be another job and a half to figure out then. Trying to get her to 400k so I dont want to skimp.

Just take it slow. The tensioner has hydraulic damping - if you try to go too fast the hydraulic resistance will end up breaking the aluminum arm between it and the pulley.

When I did my timing belt a couple years ago, I found that one of those bolts had already been replaced when the timing belt was done the first time:

The part number for that bolt is 90105-08156, though I just found one in my cache of Toyota bolts that worked (had to cut a few mm's off of the end so it didn't get in the way of anything) so I could just keep working.

Thanks for the part number. I try to keep track of Toyota bolt part numbers because I prefer using them when I can.
