HELP! I did something stupid

So my driver seat cusion moves and has been annoying me so i removed to seat to take a closer look at the problem. I was tighting bolts and ended up tighting the 2 bolts located in the front of the seat just below the seat bottom. These bolts are on the ends of the 2 screw rails that the seat motor moves the base along. Well now the seat will not move back and forth!

I tried just losing those 2 bolts a bit but nothing... Its causing the motor to get hot. Of course the seat is stuck in a position that prevents me from driving...

Check to make sure that nothing fell into the seat tracks. The driver seat in my old Nissan Frontier locked up once, turns out a penny had fallen into a tiny gap and jammed the whole thing up.

are the seats driven by a ball screw? either way its easy to cook that motor if you have the assy clamped down to tight, there should be a way of mechanically moving it though, if it's ball screw look for an allen key at the end of it and you can use that ti turn the screw and drive the seat to the proper position , beyond that please post pics of whats going on, it seems that just loosening them up should have taken the extra clamp force off and made things move again from your description...

Based on your description, I'm thinking that your seat attach points are tensioned so as to be binding the drive motor for the seat adjustment. Back off all your seat mount bolts and start over by tightening each bolt in sequence like you would a engine cylinder head. This should solve the problem.

Nevermind, I see you mentioned the motor getting hot.

Does it move AT ALL? Like if you hit the switch back and forth, does it jolt the seat at all either way? Can you still recline it?

They appear to be bound up inside the gear reduction housings (not sure the actual name) on each worm gear. loosenin the nut doesn't unbind the gearing... Pulled the motor, it's sill working so that's a plus.
