Help Identifying broken wires

So I replaced my drivers side weather stripping today (for those who don't know the passenger and driver side are interchangeable, so finding undamaged ones are super easy)

anyway, I pulled off the foot scrape plastic and found three broken traces.

I'm pretty sure that the PO added a wire which was also one that broke, but the other two I don't know.

It's this yellow wire and then two Red/White wires. They come from the bottom most plug where the side kick panel goes.

I repaired them with some splices but nothing seems to be different, any ideas what these are for?

With the rig being a limited it probably had an alarm box /power remote unlock under the drivers seat. Its possible those wires goto that box. As almost all those wires run to the rear door hatch. Along with the rear door, ABS,gas tank. For the driver side lights too.

The passenger side is just the rear door and the lights you notice a lot less wiring.

I looked around quickly and didn't see exactly what those wires go to. So I am just wondering if that box is still under your seat?

Correct, I still use the RS3000 and the remote, the only problem that whole system has is that the remote won't lock my doors, but it'll still arm the alarm.

You mentioned them also running to the rear hatch. My door sensor for the rear hatch doesn't work, but I figured that was the latch.

I guess those wires could be for either of those, but after splicing them together nothing seems to have changed.

This loom runs above another loom that's below this one, but I'm not sure what that goes to either. I looked for a diagram but came up emptyhanded

Yes those wires run all the way back. Some will be the in the rear hatch. The alarm box in the early years is under the seat. In 2001 and 2002, it moved to the rear door hatch.

You won't find a wiring diagram of that loom as they are just basically extensions of the circuits.

Your e locker wiring is in there as well. :)

Obviously they are not going to your fuel pump :), but since you are in there already you could throw a switch on the correct wire for a little extra peace of mind.....

If you put a kil switch in, make sure you use a switch that can handle the amount of current going to the fuel pump. :)
