I went to get my car looked at on base and I have quite a number of things that need to get repaired on it. Wondering if anyone could assist me here, I'll provide as much beer as you like. I don't even mind doing the work myself if you just show me what to do and supervise me to ensure I don't mess something up. Mahalo!

Lol! Don't joke around because I seriously could purchase you a ticket and fly you here. Did you see how much they quoted me to fix everything. I gather a ticket from Raleigh would be much much cheaper than having them fix it.

I highly doubt you need an entire exhaust system because of some noise. So scratch that one off. Probably don't need a front wheel bearing. These are sealed, and its pretty uncommon for them to go out, but its possible. I'm assuming the noise could be caused by bad brakes. Are your shocks really THAT bad? You probably can live with them if you dont want to spend $$ on it. How are the tires? How bad is the cupping? Cupping can be caused by a bad alignment or improper tire pressure and not shocks like they say.

Also the last comment says a leaky wheel cylinder. I'll bet you $500 its the axle seal and not the wheel cylinder.

Sounds to me like you only really need an alignment and new front brake pads which should cost $200 total at most. An axle seal is not needed but should be replaced. The part is $10 and the job should only take a mechanic 1hr.

Sounds like you probably need to get new shocks (at the age of most 4runners its not a bad idea), repair rear axle seal, I recommend a Tundra brake upgrade and go to an exhaust shop to see what is rattling.

I agree with Baja. I would replace front pads and look at your rotors. Get an alignment and check your tires PSI. If you are having reoccuring issues, video tape us something and youtube it. Then link it here and then we can look at what you have. For the most part, it looked like they were trying to nickel and dime the SH_IT out of you! Just do simple/cheaper repairs and go from there.
