Help Installing Kicker Sub

Bought a Kicker Hideaway sub.

I've installed everything according to ANTMAN's thread but I'm getting no power.
I've grounded it at the seat bolt. Fuses are good. All connections are tight.
I haven't hooked up the blue remote wire because I read somewhere that if I have the speakers hooked up that it should turn the sub on automatically.
This true? If not where does the blue remote wire go to?
I have the Entune Premium w/o JBL.
Thanks!

I just did this not to long ago. There is a wire behind the head unit that you tap into, just can't remember which one. I thought it was in Antman build tread some where. Ill look real quick and get back to you. If anything ill pull my head unit tomorrow and let you know.

I’m guessing it’s not in dc mode

I tapped into the cigarette lighter. Works fine now unless there is a reason I shouldn't have done so.
Got the idea from some car audio install shop on youtube.

Dobie T4R. I now feel like a complete dumb ass. I must of read that twice and still didn't pick up on it. But I could have sworn I switched it to DC and it still didn't work.

Now all I gotta do is dial in it's settings and get the right sound.

Thanks guys!

You’re powering the amp through the cigarette lighter? Has it popped any fuses?

No. I ran the power through the firewall to the battery.
What I hooked up to the cigarette lighter was the tiny blue remote wire.
