Okay guys , here's the deal. I have a 96 Limited with 235,000 miles. 3.4 4X4. All was well until the other day it starts pouring a leak. a Major leak. So I start cleaning to try to determine the location and see what's going on.

What is leaking is a fluid that looks like oil in color but it has the weight and feel of water with a slight oil in it. The oil and the water levels are low but it never ran hot or anything like that.

AS best that I can tell the leaking fluid is coming from the front of the engine area. Just above the oil pan there is a white wiring harness, plastic box. The oil is hitting this box and running around to the passenger side and dripping badly.. I'm talking a lot of fluid. It will leak just sitting there, not even running..

I have researched the other threads but cant find anything that has a fluid like this leaking....

So what do you guys think? Head gasket? Front main? Water Pump? I'm trying to decide if me and a friend should tear into it or take it to a shop. Would rather wrench it myself if possible. Thanks for any and all help and advise guys. Love the advise you guys put out there...
