Help Me Identify Springs

Are these the stock springs for my 4Runner (2000 Limited)?

Also, I'm wondering how dangerous it is that I replaced a broken cotter pin (actually I'm pretty sure it was a bent up nail) with a piece of bent up steel wire.

I'll admit, it's been giving me heart palpitations... and it's only one of a number of issues with the front and lift right now. I'm really looking forward to new tires and an alignment at the end of this week.

At a glance I would say since they had spacers on the struts that those are stock. But I really can't be sure about the. As far as the cotter pin goes as long as the nut is tight your good to go.

Sorry, perhaps I wasn't clear. I took these pictures as I was installing Daystar spacers, so there were no spacers before these pictures were taken. The struts are also Rancho RS5000 struts that were installed when I replaced struts and shocks on all 4 corners (all with Rancho RS5000).

The question I am asking specifically is whether these springs, 8.5 Wrap, Yellow and White (Driver's Side) and Pink and White (Passenger Side) are the stock springs. I ask because the previous owner had a weird, seemingly homemade, lift on the front with some funky struts and there is a chance these springs are not stock. There was also a seemingly homemade lift on the back where the shocks were flipped upside down and installed in some brackets the owner had welded to the frame. These brackets were cut off and factory length shocks were installed.

This all started because the ride was horrible (lurching, back end made a loud thump over big bumps, thrust angle issue, etc) and I though the best approach was to get back to factory... so factory replacement RS5000 shocks and new bushings for the rear axle... unfortunately the front sits very low with these struts, so I installed the spacers to compensate.

Yes, those are the stock height springs that are used on the 2000-2002 4runners. I had the same ones on my 2wd 4Runner until I switched to 99 tall coils. Fyi, they are also some of the shortest/lowest front coils as well.
