HELP...Mud Guards......

I'm still waiting to hear back from the kid.

So, here are pictures of the mud guards that I have...

This is how they look trying to fit them over a Limited type Flare:

These 'should' fit over the smaller SR5 black flare.
 
I just got an email from the Kid and these are for the base SR5 with just the chrome strip. Not for the Higlander type black flares. So, he is also passing on these.

yeah they appear to be for either the chrome strip flares or the no flare 4runners, though i do want to commend [MENTION=71653]ALBPM[/MENTION] for taking the time to make sure that we get the right part that we are looking for and not being a shady seller and say "oh yeah yeah, no these are what you need and yeah these are them ect..." no he took the time to email me pics and give an honest description of them. it was his term of the smooth mud guard, that caught my attention, as the mudguards that i think most of us are looking for are the textured ones found on the 99 sr5 highlanders... :hatsoff: to you Paul for being willing to take the time even though it ment you might lose a sale to ensure we got what we wanted:cheers:

IMO,it would take quite abit of modding to make those look good on a limited or SR5 Flare. I think you would loose quite abit of the mudflap functional radius to make them fit, kinda defeating the purpose.

That's exactly why I'm not going to try to make this set fit. I have another set of 3rd party flares that I'm going to modify. Same ones that 4-Ripcord and BFAD have on their Runners.

I have an '01 SR5 that came from the factory with the thin chrome fender "flares" and running boards. I'd like to remove the boards, but I don't want to be left without any front mud flaps/guards. I'm completely confused which mud guards I need get for a correct fit.

I was ready to order 76621-39395 and 76622-39395, but now I'm not so sure.

Can somebody help me out with part #'s? Are the ones I need discontinued?

Just go give them your VIN. If not I just bought some. Went to my closest dealer and got em. Your part #s are correct. I compared them to my reciept.

Also noticed that the part # on the part is different from the one on the reciept. Not sure why?

And these will fit my 99 with the stupid chrome trim ring? anyone have pics with the chrome trim removed and these mud guards installed?
 
You are replying to an old post. I have a set of the flaps for the chrome fender trim Brand new in the packaging if you want them, if the other person doesn't.
 
I didn't use them because they aren't the right ones for my application. I have the wide black fender flares. The place where I bought them from would not take them back. #'s are

76622-39395
