Help! Mustard looking leak... what is this?

Help! This new to me 2014 Trail was just lifted and new tires put on. Now i have noticed this leak behind both front wheels... what is it?

Any help appreciated!

Definately appears to be coming from the cv boot.
Looks like lithium grease though
Spread each pleat of the axle boot and check for splits

The installer/alignment shop sprayed fluid film on it. That is what it looks exactly like to me. Probably just trying to help you out... Looks like you live in an area where cars get a lot of rust and corrosion.

Torn cv boot. It can be seen in the second pic. Between first and second fin from the left.

the guy that did the lift did it . broke stuff like the grease boots.

they could care less about breaking stuff. your gonna pay for the damage.
