Hi, I am investigating a code p0304, misfire cylinder 4, on my 97 4runner. it has 207k miles and is a 4 cylinder manual. I am guessing the cylinders are labeled like this:

cabin
4
3
2
1
front bumper

... im going to replace the fuel injector for cyl 4. Just need to make sure im looking at the right thing.

You are correct. #4 cylinder is at the rear of the engine near the firewall. Also, take a look at this if you already haven't.
