Help!! Need some experienced opinions!!

So heres the situation, i went with the bilsteins 5100 and the heavy duty OME 883*(edit) and 891*(edit) front and rear coilsprings on my otherwise stock 3rd gen with the intention of in the future adding weight such as bumpers, racks sliders etc but for now not beingheavy enough to be a comfortable ride. Im literally bouncing down the road. Excessive. So now my question is whether or not there is something i can do to minimize this excessive bounce that ive got going on due to being too light for these heavy duty coils.
Limiter straps? Is that a possible solutions?
I hope to get some heads together to figure this out. I cant possibly be safely driving imo.

The coils were ment for more weight, add more weight. Either buy your "rack sliders" and other armor, or start loading water, sand, steel, lead; anything heavy to the front and rear

Well i meant cargo racks and rock sliders but okay. So really accept for adding weight obviously, theres nothing else i can do?

X2. About the only thing you can do outside of swapping out that stuff is to do what it's intended for and that's for added. weight. Get a bunch of sand bags and load up your cargo area? It's going to be hard to add weight to the front but your rear is where you're probably going to see more bouncing.
 
The 5100s are adjustable on the front, right? Try setting them with less preload. Also, remember that brand new suspension will take a week or two to settle in and provide the best driving experience. Loading it up with weight during that time can speed the process up
 
I do not think adding a limiting strap to the rear will be a good solution. I can't even find specs for the 893 coil, but if it follows the general pattern of OME coils then it's a ridiculous option to go with in the first place. The OME 892 is designed for 600kg constant load. That's more than 1300lbs which is the already the max payload and you haven't even put people or cargo in. So imagine what the 893 might require. 890 or 891 would be more than adequate for your stated plans.
If you wanted to do a limiting strap, you would need to compress the rear suspension to the height that it would be at in the future, probably by adding temporary weight. But once a strap is in place, your going to be hitting a hard solid stop all the time, just like if your shocks were topping out. The ride is going to still be terrible.
I recommend a different coil. I have 890's and they are a nice, firm ride unloaded , but can easily handle a 1000lbs in the cargo area.
Lastly, if you're dead set on those coils, perhaps you could drop your tire pressure down to 15psi and let them smooth things out for a while.
 
I will try the 15psi tire pressure asap. And probably end up throwing some sand bags in the cargo area. A dryer didnt do much :(
 
What are you using the truck for?

If you want a good ride height and dont plan on immediately adding weight, maybe swap these for something simple and cheap like 99 talls in the meantime.

Otherwise youre just gonna have to add weight
 
Update, i took the front assemblies off and lowered the preload, two notches. I was on the top notch of the tundra 5100. Its incredible what a difference that made!!! Soooooooooo much smoother.

Just a note: driving around with 15psi, especially on highways, can be dangerous. Even more so with "p" or "c" load tires
