Hello,
I am sorry if this has been covered but I havent really been able to find out exactly what I need. I have a 2003 4runner Limited v8 with XREAS and RAS. The XREAS system is worn out and I am wanting to replace it with new struts. I was going to order the Bilstein 5100 series today but every website that I look them up on says that the Bilstein 5100 part# 24-186711 will fit the front but that the Bilstein 5100 part# 33-187174's for the rear will not fit my 4runner. I was wondering if anyone can help me out in figuring out what I need for it. I was also looking for a decent set of springs that I could use also.

Thanks in advance for any help

bilstein 5100 shocks will work on your runner if you have any questions you can contact bilstein directly they will answer any questions you have, I ordered my 5100 shocks from Toytec, Mike there is very helpful and will also be able to answer any questions.

I hate to refer you to another thread but in this case the best help you will get is from the FJ springs install thread. It will answer any questions you have.

what I did for my runner was
FJ coils (front and rear)
new strut tower bushings and such from Rock Auto
Bilstein 5100 shocks (front (set at 1.75) and rear)
Cornfed poly spacer (1.5")

I have some decent lift (clearing 285's with some trimming) but if I was to do it again I would probably only go with a 1" poly spacer or set the front to 2.5" (was afraid of getting the "bro lean")

read the FJ thread carefully and multiple times if you are not mechanically inclined (or just way too busy) I'd recommend having a shop do your work.

i read somewhere that someone just had them drill out the center of the bushings for the air to work however I think most just dump the xreas entirely in favor of the blisteins
