Help Question: 97 4Runner Wheel Offset and will these take-offs fit my rig?

I have an opportunity to purchase 5 of these 17" take-offs, the guy believes are from an FJ. Year of wheels is unknown.

He has 265/70R17 on it right now.
We measured the off-set and it was 5 inches.

My current wheels are OE and came with the 265/70R16 (which I know was one of the two optional sizes for the 4Runner.

So my question is, with a 5" offset and the current tire size, can I mount these directly to my 3rd gen without a lift or spacers.

The only reason I am considering these wheels are:
1) $50 for 5 tires and wheels. Tires are in good shape and will get me some extra miles so I can spend that $ on brakes, and some engine stuff.
2) I wanted black wheels and they are steel and the center caps actually look good.

He bought a old truck he is restoring and they used the take-offs as roller wheels. I figured I can't go wrong for $50 bucks for 5 wheels + tires. I just want to know if they will fit.

The size converts to 265/70R17 = 31.6x10.4R17. Which if it is true, I am currently at almost 30" with only 2/32nd's of tread left on my front tires.

Yeah they will work, but only with 265/70/17's. If you try to go with 33's you will need spacers.

Just my opinion but the first wheel pictured is pretty crappy looking. It looks like something that would be on a boat trailer.

I'd paint the OEM one satin black and call it a day.

Also next time tell the balancing guys they are not allowed to put weights on the outside of the wheel. That is a sign of bad tire shop.

Hey BrianSD_42. Well there was a miscommunication for the wheels. He meant $50 each not for all 5. So on that note, I will be painting my rims. Something like this below (but in black):

I didn't put the weights on the outside of the rim. That's how I bought the 4runner. I know better. I worked for Goodyear and Firestone.
