Help removing front grill before I break it.

So as I've read these acorn nuts can be a pita. Im a victim of breaking atleast 2 currently trying to remove the grill. I see no easy way to remove these as even the ones near the corners are spinning and I can even see the square back on those. Any help is appreciated otherwise I'm going to just re paint the grill with dip while on the car.

Also if I was to get a new grill how would I even go about removing the old one? The nuts dont look very easy to cut off? I assume the new grills comes with new hardware? Most of the ones I've seen also dont have the emblem with them.

PB blaster or Penetrating WD-40 (silver and yellow bottle)
Then work it with a regular socket wrench combo, dont use power tools, and you will be able to get the acorn nut out, when you install your new grille, find some stainless steel nuts from McFadden if there is one around you or order online.

Looks like I'm causing more bad then good. I now have 2 broken clips and one broken nut that sheared off and it's not looking good on saving and reusing this grill if I get it out.

if you are handy with as soldering iron, you can plastic weld the clips back. I did that with my grille when i got my 4Runner, and 4 months in i have not had an issue with them braking again, you can also jbweld the back on if all the pieces are still there

Yes -these were a pita. I replaced my grill with a flat mesh/ satoshi look. I was able to get about half of these off. The other ones I had to fight with as they were rusted and stripped. I drilled, cut etc. to finally get it all off and now my grill is held on by half the previous number of nuts, but it works

I broke the 2 clips on the top middle but the sides were good so I figure It'll do. If I need to get a new grille, I'll pick up some via aftermarket on ebay.
