!HELP!! Replaced the Driver Door Lock Actuator, Cant get key to work

I replaced the drivers door lock actuator but I can't manage to get the "propeller" from the key cylinder to align with the actuator. It extends beyond the actuator and when sliding the actuator in it moves the propeller/rod out of the way. Any suggestions on how to make this happen would be greatly appreciated. I've tried using a hanger and a wire to pull it over the raised portion of the actuator. Please help.

Pictures? Are you sure it's for a power door lock. Not manual? I've had that before

I had this exact same problem.
Using a piece of string, wrap it around the propeller and pull down(I put the string through the hole where the door latches), and while doing this, take the actuator and come from the bottom of the door to the top. It should slide in. I trimmed some of the plastic guarding around the female end on the actuator. But you may not need to trim it.

Thanks Ryan, I will give this a shot when I get home tonight. I never considered trimming the guard down on a new part. It's losing weight tonight.

Toyotatech....In regards to photos, it's probably possible but it's very dark and tight in there. I'm Basically working blind and by feel and not in a good way.

Eureka! If I only would have known!

Okay, finally got around to disassembling the door again to try and align the propeller to the new actuator. I was set to remove material at will from the the new actuator until I noticed the rubber cap on the side of the door, popped it out to reveal a torx bolt. Loosened the bolt and the lock mechanism that's connected to the propeller was free to move out, pushed the assy (w/propeller) right back into the actuator...DONE!! Picture below:

Had the same problem with installing mine the first time. Just takes some maneuvering.
